"Sonia is the best language instructor that I could find in Singapore, and I would recommend her to anyone who is serious about becoming fluent in Portuguese. I don't say this lightly as I have already learned several foreign languages, so I have very high expectations towards my tutors; Sonia and her course have surpassed them by far. Before finding Sonia, I had tried some in-person and on-line lessons with different instructors, but I found that they either weren't able to explain the grammatical rules of the language correctly, or they would use English when teaching which delays progress. Her materials are very well structured, they progress logically, and cover a topic in its entirety before moving on to the next one. Her grammar book is a great comprehensive reference, covering all topics and containing a convenient table-format guide on verb conjugation.
