Brazil's Presidential Election 2022
Brazil’s presidential election is scheduled to be held in October.
The first round of the election will be held on October 2. If none of the candidates gets 50% of the votes, there will be a second round scheduled for October 30.
156 mio Brazilian voters will have to choose between the two most favoured candidates: right-wing candidate Bolsonaro (current president who was elected by nearly 58 mio people in 2018) or left-wing candidate Lula (ex-president between 2003-2010 who was involved in many corruption scandals in Brazil).
The 2022 will be the most important presidential election in recent years and this election will decide Brazil’s future for the upcoming years.
Brazilians and the world will be watching the election very closely this year.
