"Caipirinha" is Brazil's national drink.
"Caipirinha" is also known as "batida de limão" (lime drink or lime cocktail). It's made with lime, sugar, ice and sugarcane spirit (cachaça).
There are other kinds of "caipirinha" like "batida de maracujá" (passion fruit cocktail).
The name changes if the drink is made with other ingredients like vodka, rum or fruits.
"Caipirosca" is made with vodka
"Caipiríssima" is made with rum
"Caipifruta" is made with fruit.
