Torrada (Toast Bread)
In Brazil you can find savory and sweet toast in
the supermarkets. Home-made toast is delicious and very easy to
prepare.

| 1 pão

Preparation: |
| 1.
Corte o pão em fatias. |
1. Cut the
bread into slices. |
| 2.
Coloque as fatias numa assadeira. |
2. Put the
slices on a baking tray. |
| 3.
Asse em forno
quente (180-200 graus) por uns 10 minutos ou até dourar. |
3. Bake in
preheated oven (330-350 F) for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. |
Remarks:
- Toast is often served with butter or cheese.
- Toast is delicious when served as an
appetizer with tuna spread.
- You can keep toast in a jar for some
time.
